SCUMBAG WESLEY SCROGGINS
So this guy, Wesley Scroggins, an associate professor at Missouri State University, filed a complaint with the local school district to stop using textbooks and other materials “that create false conceptions of American history and government or that teach principles contrary to Biblical morality and truth.”
Oh, did I mention he doesn’t even have a child attending any of the schools in that district?
That’s Wesley Scroggins, an associate professor who “is all about balance - balance in his teaching, balance in his research and balance in his service.”
That’s this Wesley Scroggins, who can be reached via email at WesScroggins@MissouriState.edu

Can we amend his complaint to be just :that create false conceptions of American history and government
If you ever need to be really depressed, go read how text books are voted on and how the information is chosen. Basically, American history Textbooks are the bitches of a bunch of conservative A-holes from Texas and California. We buy the most so if we object to something and say we won’t buy the textbooks if XX is included or XX is NOT included, the money grubbing bastards oblige us.
For example: The Texas Board of Education on Friday approved a social studies curriculum that will put a conservative stamp on history and economics textbooks, stressing the superiority of American capitalism, questioning the Founding Fathers’ commitment to a purely secular government and presenting Republican political philosophies in a more positive light.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/13/education/13texas.html
And because these books are tailored to appease the bigger states, IE Texas, this isn’t just Texas who will get these BS books. Ummm anyway… LOOK I HAVE A TANGENT!!
